Default: Joy

Default: Joy is a dystopian dance-theatre work that asks a deceptively question: If everything collapses, what is your default setting? 

Driven by spiraling rhythms and ecstatic motion the work unfolds as a collective search for joy. Grounded footwork, interlaced bodies, and shifting ensemble formations generate a shared terrain where vulnerability, resistance, and exhilaration coexist. Through it, joy emerges as an act of defiance.

Set as a response to what is happening in the world, Default: Joy aims to confront numbness, panic, and exhaustion, insisting on presence and collective momentum. What remains is a state of liberation forged through intensity, endurance, and shared action.
