In Ma Maison, McIntyre pays tribute to the vibrant life-and-death rituals of New Orleans, with BODYTRAFFIC’s dancers moving in communion with the electrifying live sounds of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Performed with musicians on stage and featuring intricate, newly reconstructed costumes, this rare restaging is both a remembrance and a celebration of a vibrant jazz tradition.
