Masha was diagnosed with AML in Russia while pursuing her dream as a professional ballet dancer. From her sudden diagnosis\, her sense of self\, image\, and direction came crumbling down in a matter of seconds. How could a future and identity that she had been building for half of her life dissipate so quickly? Was this life not meant for her? \nSince her diagnosis\, cancer has mutated Masha’s relationship with dance.
