DESCRIPTION:Los Angeles Mission College’s AMP Theatre hosts Benita Bike’s DanceArt in a FREE interactive dance program on Wednesday\, March 12\, 2:00 pm. The Theatre is located at 13356 Eldridge Ave.\, Sylmar. Join members of the community\, students and faculty for this unique dance event\, where you’ll enjoy beautiful dancing and learn more about dance. For program information\, call 818-470-5734 or see www.danceart.org. \nViewers will be engaged and inspired by this program of dance performance and discussion about the art of dance. The DanceArt Company is as skilled at introducing concert dance to those new to dance\, but we also provide an enriching the experience to those who are long-time dance viewers. \nThe March 12th performance features excerpts from new dance “From Where I Sit\,” which delves into several characters’ states of mind; “Griot Songs\,” exploring three stages of womanhood; and “For Rose\,” the story of loss and love after a mother’s death.

They will be held at studio 3\, at Epicenter Arts + Entertainment in Torrance\, CA. \nBoth classes are open level with a suggested donation of $8 per class\, or $12 for both.
