Instagram Features

Each weekend, LA Dance Calendar shares posts of dance events occurring within the upcoming week within the following categories:

  • Dance Events + Performances
  • Dance Workshops + Sessions
  • Dance Auditions, Resources, + Opportunities

All submissions to the LA Dance Calendar website will automatically be featured on Instagram in the relevant weeks. To be featured on instagram without submitting to the website, please DM @ladancecal by Tuesday at midnight PST of the week you’d like to be featured.

I just submitted to the online calendar. When will I see my event/opportunity featured?

Our database is updated weekly. Accordingly, please expect to see your event listed on the calendar within one week.

If I’ve already submitted via the online calendar, do I need to resubmit to be featured on Instagram?

Nope! If you submitted to our Online Calendar, your event will automatically be featured via Instagram.

I need to make an edit to my submission! How can I do so?

Simply email us at ladancecal@gmail.com with your edits, and we will update your submission on our end.

If I’ve DMed you on Instagram with my event, would I need to still submit to the website?

Yes, please utilize our form to submit your event to the online calendar.

When I DM @ladancecal to be featured on Instagram. What should I send?

Please send: (1) A flyer of your event, workshop, and/or opportunity; (2) The IG handle you’d like for us to tag; and (3) Any other information you feel might be useful

Do you have any tips for the flyer I submit?

Experiment with a catchy image, event details (including date, time, + location), and a clear link/social media handle where folks can find more information. Minimum words work best!
