Our Mission.
As dance artists working in Southern California, our founders – Tula B. Strong & Marianna Varviani – recognized the need for a free and accessible resources where dance-makers could promote their events & dance-enthusiasts could find them. Out of recognizing this need, LA Dance Calendar was birthed!
LA Dance Calendar’s mission is to provide one centralized location for dance artists & enthusiasts to discover all the 
happening within the Greater Los Angeles Region. Our online platform shares and promotes resources such as:
- Dance Performances & Events
- Dance Classes, Workshops, & Sessions
- Grants & Artist Opportunities
LA Dance Calendar is committed to sharing the diversity of dance and talent in Greater Los Angeles. We are committed to sharing dance from various genres in the concert, street, academic, gallery, experimental, and commercial spheres. Furthermore, it is through these efforts that we hope to spur a culture of love and greater support for dance in Southern California.
Our Team
LA Dance Calendar launched in January 2023 by two dance artists: Marianna Varviani and Tula B. Strong. The team is currently operating on a volunteer basis.
